Yes, I agree with you here... and after I posted that, I went to
CDNow and played about 20 samples to get a better understanding as
to where you were coming from. And yes, on her better material, Eva
does inject a naturalness and lack of pretense to the song... Her
best stuff is the least produced material. I can easily see the
appeal and genuine nature that you are referring to.If you want to get a good cheap sampling of Sarah Vaughan, this CD
is really great, as it highlights her older material and is amazingly
analog sounding. It sounds very open and natural. It isSARAH VAUGHAN IN HIFI

I dont think you can go wrong with that one.
As for my system, here is a basic rundown of what I am playing at the
moment... as for bass, it has great tone and is pretty extended but
not like a a home theatre setup; basically, you have to change the way
you listen to SET amps... Although, to me, the bass is very
satisfying, now with better pitch than any SS amp I've had.My System (although a few changes have happened since this )
