The James Burgess 300B amp in the link below for less than $800. While I have not heard this particular amp, I do own a SE 45 amp that James built. James is a Jeweler by trade and does meticulous work. Also, he can be trusted, so if he says it sounds great, you can accept that at face value.He's also one of the best "underground" builders to deal with, in all respects. Good luck!
