I'm with you on that

I say it only as a hypothesis, and as a challenge towards the best possible sound.

I say it also in deference to yours and others perspective that this is a great amplifier.

If I ever get a chance to hear it and to really examine its sound, I would look forward to that very much.

Even if I got to hear it and I could hear the limitations of the pentode driving the 45, or maybe I would hear the pentode driving the 45 at its best potential, because of the strong recommendations, there might be some other things about the sound that could be of great interest. I've only become intimately familar with a few variables.

I respect what has been said about the amp, and I am just posing a suspected challenge to the sound as I gain more clarity of some of the vital elements of sound. And I want to share that with you too, for what you have shared with us.
