Hi,

All of the Amp's used (PP and SE) use one form or another of self bias, thus all running around 380V/75mA in the M500 and the Push-Pull "Monkey" Amp's and at waht I cared to select in the Legacy.... In most cases I kept things to plugging the Valves in under equal conditions, as non caries special warning labels saying "This Valve is not a 300B and hence an Amplifier designbed for 300B's needs the operating point changed" (some Kron and Vaic Valves are like that).

So what I heard in genral is what you'd hear plugging the Valves into an "average" self biasing SE Amp (there is little "average" about the "Monkey" push-pull Amp).

Ciao T
