Could you share the differences you heard when you switched from the KR to the WE?Might give a clue to how the TJ would sound.
Haven't had the Bucks to do Tube Rolling with 300B's, but I have the 2.5 V heater version of the TJ 300B's running at 300B operating points in my Consonance M-500 Mono Blocks. Have also run these same tubes in others 2A3 amps and hear the same sonic signature at 2A3 operating points, if that is any help.
This tube just seems to do a lot of things well, but then I have not done any direct comparison with other 300B's
