My curiosity about Burgess amps is piqued. From what I could guess from your photos, it looks like he favors "traditional" circuit designs as opposed to "modern". Since I am in the very early stages of learning about the advantages and disadvantages of alternative circuits, I find the "modernists" a bit over-represented in the several forums devoted to tube gear, or else the traditionalists are not quite as strident.
