How hard can you drive a 46?

I don't have sensitive speakers but have plenty of 46s. I'm wondering exactly how hard you can safely drive a 46 (class A) to see if it's worth using it in a push pull amp?

Data says 250v plate, 22mA and 1.25W output per tube. That would give 2.5W in Push Pull - any way of getting more than that, apart from paralleling them up?
