Hello,
Use "search", there are LOTS of posts here on this. Spend some time reading them all.My best advice, have Don build you a new Type 45 amp from scratch, if you want to use the word "optimze" - with an amp originally designed for a 2A3.
Other (lesser attempts) are always "sub optiomal", DIY semi-kluges, but they will pass a signal, big deal, and maybe even make some people smile.
If you want to run a Type 45 optimally, have Don do it and do it right, he certainly knows how.
The output trannie, for one thing, needs to be switched from the 2A3's 2.5K (DS-025) to 5K, to do a Type 45 properly (DS-050). I have a MQ DS-050, and it is totally superb.
