Hey Mikey
I just changed the driver tubes on my low power
Parafeed SE 845. It runs about 700vdc on the 845 plate.
I used your FS-100 SE trannies, the orignal design I
found on MachMat's site. It uses a EF86 then a El-34
triode-wired to drive the 845.
I just recently change the EL-34 to a 6A3 it starting
to sound pretty good. I'm comparing it to my 45 driving 45's,
Wurlitzer jukebox amps. The 845's are starting to get more
airy I think.
Yes I have always liked the sound of my low powered SE 845
amps, but its still fun to try to tweak them a bit.
Willie
