Oh, and against all convention I prefer the 300b at low voltage, it out 2a3's a 2a3 at 2a3 operating points, but then why spend the money on a 300b just to use it as a 2a3?
S'pose you need more like 500v on the 211, zero bias agin? That's just so easy, bias with a piece of wire, no cap no resistor.
