RE: any EML 45G user? how does it compare to the standard EML 45? Thanks(NT)

Wow, cool that Jac is finally remaking these! I asked him to a while back. I am surprised he didn't email me about this, since I was the one who set up the orignal run of these, and actually convinced him to do them using a non-touching-the-glass design (credit to Dave Slagle for that idea). The smaller bottle is interesting. It looks like the Micas are redesigned a bit too - nice. The real risk on these is shipping damage. I think of the original 11 pairs that I had made for folks, 2 pairs didn't survive shipping. At least one pair was stupidly burned up by a buyer running them at 2A3 levels. Another pair went to the ultimate scumbag Robert Hutton in Canada, who later resold them used for more than he paid new. I still have 4 pairs of the original batch, 3 prs of which are NOS unused. These are great, my favorite 45 by far. Nice to see them reissued by Jac, hopefully they will continue to make them indefinitely.
