Owned two Jeff Korneff 45 in the past; one an older version with vintage Sansui transformers, and one newer with Electraprints. They were both absolutely fantastic amps, but in my system as it was then configured -- with Lowthers -- the richer tone of the Yamamoto A-08s was a better complement. Later on a 45 built by James Burgess was even further to my liking. And after the Lowthers went, in retrospect I think they are all top-notch amps without a doubt; just a matter of personal preference and synergy with the rest of your system.
I do miss the old Korneff amp with those Sansui outputs. Also just like another poster, I had corresponded with Mr. Korneff about the amp I had not bought from him, and received a great deal of help and advice; it was a pleasure dealing with Jeff.
