Yes ,That was my point but I didn't won't go into argument over the issue;)
I had a huge Patrician IV in not that big of a room (400sq.ft)also a pair of Klipschorns bass bins (which don't go very low).They do need little more than 1.5-2W to perform. It's not about volume and how loud they will play.Those amps are /can be wonderfuly musical and satisfying but IMHO if one has "BASS and Scale" capable speakers (even, very ,very efficient)either bi-amp(what a lot of people do) or bigger amps.
