I also have a nice pair of coaxials in bass reflex cabinets that are quite efficient and have all the "magic" you are talking about. I wasn't just talking about volume with the maggies either. I have heard some very nice spine tingling music coming from the maggies with both my 2A3's and my 45 amps. At lower volumes of course and, as I said, with chamber music and acoustic mucic. I didn't say they sounded better than horns (haven't heard them so I don't know) I just said they sound very good. Horns and lowthers aren't the only speakers that SET's sound good on. That is my point and you haven't told me anything that would change my mind on that.
