Smoothplate's 45 SET in the back issues of Valve at Bottlehead Corp. is a good one. Constant current loaded driver direct-coupled to parafeed 45. Very tight on the bass and low distortion. Can't compare it to other 45 SET as the one I am using is a version based on that design, and the only one I've made. Best amp I ever heard, though.
