I don't have very efficient speakers, so my 45 amps get pushed sort of hard. It's there where I really notice the difference between the amps, with the SC sounding the most effortless and unflappable.
I haven't heard a lot of other 300b amps, but I've sure gotten a lot of listening done on the Laurels since I built them several years ago. Sometimes I think the sound is too sweet and mellow, while at most other times, they seem like a fine balance between sounding detailed but not too detailed-important for me since a lot of the music I enjoy isn't exactly audiophile grade.
