My Star Chief 45 is almost entirely stock but I removed the 1 uf bypass cap on the ultrapath oil cap and fussed with the mechanicals a little, in order to reduce mechanical ringing of the 45 tube. I'll probably slap a sheet of linoleum flooring to the underside of these thin chassis plates one of these days. THAT ought to deaden the things nicely.
300bs are Welborne Laurel IIXes with the Black Gate caps and the C-L-C-L 300b filament power supply lifted directly from the Terraplane circuit.
