Hi,
I might as well add my 2 cents here. I have owned Don's Super X 2a3,the 300B Intergrated ,and the standard 2a3 X. All are terrific sounding products. I've also had GW'S Mono 8's.
All great sounding gear,although my mono 8's were noisy with my Reference De-Cappo's.
I was using my Fi gear with The Cain(RIP) Abby's and Bailey sub...a great pairing.In fact one of those classic combo's ...Terry loved Don's amps.
I now own Don's Fi 421a amp w/his pre and phono and Terry's last creation (designed by Gordon Rankin) Wall-o-sound(W3) speakers.
The 421a delivers 4 watts and is very linear from top to bottom ...it's a great match with the W3 speakers. No shortage of bass,hugh soundstage ...best combo I've ever had.
