I think I use a 300b for my Valencias most of the time, and this may match them best.However, the 45 tube and sound can be something special so it is worth putting it to the Valencias just to hear it and enjoy it. It may not bring the 45 out as much as it can go, but it is very much worth it to glipse at the 45's potential
