Well, you are in a much better position than I am right now. My speakers are 94 db efficient with no crossover. And they are the same speakers that I had with my 45 amp. I would have thought that the speakers were efficient enough but not quite. If I had a big enough room for Duo's I know that I would still have my 45 amp since that is how I first heard the amps in a dealer's show room. Really amazing.I listen to a wide range of music as well but the 45 wasn't quite getting the job done. It wasn't anything that was blatently obvious but it was enough to put me off from listening to a big part of my collection. It was a sad day when I packed them up and shipped them off to their new home. But I am hard pressed to say that I miss them now that I have my new amps. Who would have thought.
