I once saw Leo Kotke live. He had a pair of bijass EV horns and a tube head that hummed so loud I thought I would pass out. When the first whack at the big ole Taylor roared, I knew hum was my freind. Easily the best dynamics and timbre I had heard. I have never heard a truly dynamic system that did not hum a little bit. And some of the best systems I have heard had plenty of hum.TC
