Swap a 2A3 for a 45?

Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

If running a 45 SET w/1.5k ohms cathode bias resistor, what will happen if a 2A3 were put in the same circuit?
I am guessing the 2A3 would work okay, but with reduced output. Output tranny is 6K ohm primary with only 8 ohm secondary.
Please comment on this if you would!!!!
