I have not heard the Wright gear but I did see/hear Ron's DRD 45 at VSAC 2003. It is an excellent sounding amp (w/new TJ mesh 45s) and is exactly where I'd send someone who likes to build, save money, but not into rolling your own (full nelson DIYer ;-)).I'd be concerned about the match however with the Cain and Cains because of the Fostex driver used. Obviously you should ask Terry Cain. My personal opinion.....I'd go with Ron's DRD 300B amp with TJ mesh plates if I had my heart set on the Cain speaks. The mesh plate 300Bs have many qualities of the 45 tube with more oomph.
Just my 2 cents, YMMV, etc. etc.
