Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

I still have my Tektron 2A3.

But the hum is too much for me. I haven't taken the time to work on it, so the amp has been sitting on my closet shelf.

Other than that, the sound is excellent, the transformers are supposedly of good quality (although I don't know who winds them), the other components and assembly appear to be very good. The amp came with NOS Marconi 6J5GT's, an 80 rectifier and Sovtek 2A3's.

Attilio Caccamo is the designer, and apparently each amp is a little different. However, they are beautiful, and appear to be good platforms for modifications and tweaking. My biggest problem is that I didn't get a schematic, and I am a bit color-blind, so I can't read the resistor color codes. Once resistors are in a circuit, it is my understanding that an ohm-meter is no good for determining their values. If I don't sell it, I will probably draw a pictorial / schematic, and ask someone to read the resistor color-codes for me.
