Yes, I have one, the integrated 45 based amp. Mine is far from stock, it has special hand wound C-core transformers which the stock kit doesn't have, and I upgraded the stock caps - BG's in the PS, Vitamin Q's and Cerafines otherwise. Western Electric wire, and I use the 80 rectifier. The circuit diagram doesn't entirely make sense, you need to work it to get the hum down.Overall the design is excellent and the circuit elegantly simple. The amp looks good.
Sound is outstanding. The 45 is not a warm and lush tube, it is very direct and revealing with excellent tone and is magically musical. I am currently using UX-245 globes, a UX-280 globe rectifier, and RCA grey glass VT-231's.
Please note that the 45 has low gain, overall this integrated derives the majority of it's gain from half a 6SN7 per side.
The amp drives a pair of 15" Tannoy dual concentrics, HPD385's. These speakers are 95dB efficient, the room is on the small side, I listen about 6 to 7 feet away. There is no problem driving these to moderately loud levels. Enough volume to get my wife to tell me to turn it down. Bass is phenomenal, but that is a Tannoy strong point too. The amp is extremely revealing to a fault. This is not a forgiving tube or amp. If I were listening in a larger room I would feel the need for more efficient speakers. You will not have a problem, I can get Nirvana loud enough to piss off the neighbors.
I know the Wright and the ASL. IMO there is no question that the Tektron is better, just look at the transformers to see that. Wavelength I have not heard, I imaging their 45 amp is excellent.
