45 parafeed SET vs. 845 transformer-coupled PP

After I've tweaked up this 45 SET I listened to the 845 PP amp I built. Well, it's got more power with the 845 PP but I can't go back to it anymore. It's not even close. I have these 70 lb. monoblocks that are being used to take up shelf space in my garage, and they cost me $2500 to build! They sound great with conventional box speakers but not in the same league as the 45 SET with horns. Even considering the compression that the 45 SET faces on loud music the 845 PP is less dynamic and rhythmic. Lacks transparency - even muddled in comparison. I don't know what to do with these beasts I have anymore.

I am just getting progressively worse at my expectations of what hi-fi should do. I don't even want to go back to 2A3's. This is getting ridiculous.
