Badlands, "Seasons"

When it comes to Badlands' "Seasons," it takes me back, not to when it came out in summer 1989, but the Fall 1989 quarter, when I had entered UC Santa Cruz. Notice that, due to drought, the campus hills were dry and scarred from fires. Indian Summer was sunny and warm, but that could also lead to fog. Especially after the October 1989 Loma Prieta quake, "Seasons," which was yet another Led Zep clone, enhanced being sad, in the mist and redwood forest.

Badlands' "Seasons" is another deep cut, for audiophiles who know their rock music.
