When we were in junior high 40 years ago, we would go to the gray-colored foot of the Embarcadero. The water in the Vaillancourt Fountain wasn't always on. San Francisco was (still is) roughly 7 x 7 miles - very small. So when we heard the Scorpions' "Big City Nights," we dreamed about going to bigger cities.

40 years later, "Big City Nights" has become a staple of rock radio.
