35 years ago, the other seniors at my high school had already gotten their college acceptance/rejection letters. I finally got mine, and did get into UC Davis. My family did take me back. On that trip, I did listen to XTC's "The Loving."

However, since too many from my high school were going to Davis, I decided not to go there.

I chose UC Santa Cruz, instead. There, you did hear XTC. And things like that not only accelerated the journey not high-end audio, it molded your life and musical influences.

Well, when one of my dormmies lay on the pebbly ground, she remarked, "Ouch! This isn't my idea of this rocks ."

Since then, many more of my friends, relatives, and coworkers went to UC Davis. Nevertheless, we do like the fact that XTC's "The Loving" is relatively unknown, which makes you enjoy it even more.
