40 years ago, I was in 7th grade. I'd come home, and some of the neighborhood kids would be out in the common area. We loved getting amped to Rick Springfield's "Love Somebody." But he started to fade from popularity, and we didn't hear "Love Somebody" too often.

But then, in the early-90s, my college friend, CC2, loved Springfield's "Love Somebody." Originally from coastal China, across the sea from Taiwan, CC2 remarked that she hadn't heard anything like "Love Somebody" there. I have no idea, how she was introduced or exposed to "Love Somebody." And again, after I graduated in 1993, I didn't hear "Love Somebody" that often - until now, with the prevalence of internet radio.
