Ah, the Palace of Fine Arts. 35 years ago, when we were in high school, cameras could not take action shots. Nowadays, with our kids in high school, we simply bust out the smartphones, and take good photos.

In early 1989, we would have our Walkmen in tow. At the Palace of Fine Arts, Debbie Gibson's "Lost In Your Eyes" froze time, and we were oblivious to anyone around us. Ms. Gibson wrote and produced it herself. In March 1989, "Lost In Your Eyes" hit #1.
