When the music video for Culture Club's "Church Of The Poison Mind" came out, our schoolmates wanted to ride with the band, in the convertible and airplane.
In 1984, my aunt was a civilian, working at an Air Force base in the UK. She sent me a black Culture Club tank top. I brought it to school, and my friend/classmate Chandra loved it. She grabbed it, and pulled it over her shirt. Naturally, a few mean schoolmates made fun of her. Chandra gave them the stink eye. Three others continued to give her a bad time. Chandra then snickered something like, "After I kick your ass, it's going to hurt that much more, coming from the chick in a Culture Club shirt!"
If Chandra could brush off vile schoolmates, then anyone can brush off the audiophiles.
Do you still have the Simaudio 600i? It just sits there, and lets you decide. It doesn't favor any one type of music over another. My family and guests might focus attention on other audio products. In all honesty, they do not think about the 600i. That's actually quite a compliment.
