An Inmate was lamenting to me that being a solo audiophile did not lead to dance music. No matter how many and how much audiophiles love dance music, it's really meant to be enjoyed with multiple people.

In the late-90s, Rockell's "In A Dream" made it out of clubs, and onto mainstream radio.

20 years ago, most of us still were not married, and we did occasionally go to dance clubs. We noticed that certain San Francisco landmarks were lit in color. Rockell's "What U Did 2 Me" was a mildly popular discotheque hit. WYLD played it a few times, and that was it.

When we hear "What U Did 2 Me" now, we sort of miss those days, which feel like yesterday, but are really 20 years in the past.
