Aw yeah, 25 years ago, when we weren't yet 25 years-old, we loved Coolio's "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)," which was about gettin' down on the dance floor, and then gettin' down in the bedroom. Even if you weren't from the west coast, you understood.

My girlfriend and bowling partner, ACS, had a small red Toyota Tercel. When we drove down to SoCal, "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)" made the Tercel feel like a big convertible. Alas, when we got to Redondo Beach, it was cloudy.

The video for "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)" is funny. At a party, Coolio's girlfriend calls him to come over. Along the way, Coolio tries to bribe kids for their bikes. When he finally gets to the party, it is over, and his girlfriend had left to go to his house.
