That photo was taken in late-summer 1991. We're such losers. San Jose in the summer is hot. But that was the one day, when remnants from a Baja hurricane came up to the Bay Area, and kept the high at 72 degrees. For a water park, that is too cold.
Left to right: Yours truly in a Metallica "Metal Up Your Ass" shirt; my then-girlfriend KJ (she started out in a White Lion t-shirt, but it got all wet, so she changed out of it); my cousin "T;" my brother in the Megadeth t-shirt; and my friend Jeffo in a Dokken shirt.
When one is this much into the music, it makes sense that a small percentage of such people will then become audiophiles. I receive a ton of emails from rock-music audiophiles around the world. They share their stories, photos, and music, but never post here. Once in a blue moon, I get one of them to help me compose a post.
