30 years ago, the petite curly blonde Andrea lived in the triple dorm room next door. Her two roommates were sexually active with their respective boyfriends. Sexiled or not, Andrea spent a lot of time with me (both in and out of my dorm room). Since it hardly ever rained, we could frequently walk over to the UCSC campus radio station, KZSC. KZSC would retain folk-based rock and world beat music. They would sell the rest.

One time, I picked up this promo CD of Nelson's "After The Rain." Andrea looked at the Nelson twins, ruffled her head hair, and said, "But I'm a true blonde!"

I had a Sony D-10 Discman, AQ Adapter Z, and AR Powered Partners. Like a lot of girls, Andrea liked "After The Rain." But then, pointing out our prolonged drought, Andrea remarked, "But it'd be better, if it actually rained!"
