The KAV-250cd/2 has out-of-balance sonics, with too much bass (though the quality is fine).

The beautiful-looking KAV-280cd (in silver, that is) has an illegible red display.

Moreover, both of these players do not have the Disc Time Remaining function, which is an unforgivable omission for us.
