An audiophile reached out, and wrote, "Even when you bring up major acts, you cover their lesser-known material." He then brought up the rock band Foreigner, and said that he saw them in Indiana, a few years ago.
When I first was introduced to my friend ACS at the Volleyball Club in December 1987, a boombox had played (or maybe was still playing) Yes' "Love Will Find A Way" and Foreigner's "Say You Will." ACS, then a 13-year-old freshman, flashed her trademark ebullient smile, and she then made arrangements for everyone to meet outside of school, to play team sports.
In late 1995, ACS and I were dating, and regardless of where we were, we liked to hit record stores. Some Tower Records had this CD single of Foreigner's "Until The End Of Time." That was the first time we would hear this song. At the time, MTV and VH1 were not playing music videos. And our local Bay Area radio stations, while playing the same Foreigner songs over and over again, did not play "Until The End Of Time."
The audiophile above drew a blank, "Nope. I don't recall hearing this on the radio."
