They weren't Echo & Narcissus; they were Echo & The Bunnymen. We don't know why horses would dance, but 35 years ago, when "Bring On The Dancing Horses" came out, we playfully tried to mimic a dancing horse.

"Bring On The Dancing Horses" was included on Echo & The Bunnymen's greatest hits album, Songs To Learn & Sing ." It would get a new lease on life in spring/summer 1986, when it appeared on the Pretty In Pink soundtrack.
