30 years ago, Santa Cruz's book/record stores had the new Scorpions album, Crazy World , whose cover used the same black & white colors as Love At First Sting . Crazy World kicked off with the straight-forward rocker, "Tease Me Please Me." While we did enjoy that, back in our dorm, the album's power ballads, "Send Me An Angel" and "Wind Of Change" overshadowed it.

Since there was very little rainfall, we did get out of the dorms, and hit the beaches. The weather could still be cloudy and gray, matching Crazy World 's album cover. Were it not for the pink socks and brown leather, the photo above looks black & white. But that was how the sand looked, during the winter.

Anyway, the Scorpions do get their fair share of airplay. But everyone's forgotten about "Tease Me Please Me."
