In 1985, Duran Duran took a break. Andy Taylor and John Taylor wanted to play harder rock, so they formed The Power Station. Simon Lebon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor formed the side project, Arcadia.
In time for the 1985 elections, Arcadia released "Election Day." Back then, I was just a high school freshman, too young to vote. I do not recall anything about my local November 1985 elections.
But if you like to add to your Duran Duran fix, don't forget about Arcadia.
