"It's the Kermit The Frog song!"
40 years ago, we were in elementary school, and when Boz Scaggs came out with "Look What You've Done To Me," we thought it was Kermit The Frog, and expected to hear it on The Muppet Show. But no, it was actually from a John Travolta movie, Urban Cowboy . I do not know if Boz Scaggs was actually living in San Francisco at the time, but he co-wrote "Look What You've Done To Me" with David Foster. The band was Toto, and The Eagles (who had not yet taken their 14-year vacation) were the backup singers.
I had transferred to a school in the Marina District. When that afternoon breeze started to come in through the Bay, hearing "Look What You've Done To Me" was pure magic. Years later, when we went on dates, hearing "Look What You've Done To Me" was magical, in a different (more romantic, and adult contemporary) way. And hopefully, it was just as magical, in your locale.
