So you must have followed the origins of Garbage back to Fire Town and Spooner. Spooner played before Iron Maiden at Milwaukee's Summerfest music festival somewhere in the 1980's. Needless to say, they did not go over well and got pelted by beer cups and such. Although, they did get the last laugh by developing a successful career and especially the production work of Butch Vig.
