Finally listened to John Fogerty's latest last night - what a surprise! Other than the first track, which is a sonic mess, great tunes from back in the day that actually sound good. Despite multiple recording sessions/sites, etc the production staffs have done a great job imho. My ProAc's have never been real comfortable with rock - it seems they need a lower noise floor on the recording to not sound congested but they sounded great last night. Good stage, sharp imaging, clear vocals - even with the db's up a little more than usual. Great guests lean a little to the country side of life but the bands swing. Bet this cd would sound great over single driver speakers, among others.
