What really surprises me is that the SQ on broadcast and You Tube performances is quite a bit better than some performers cd's. Is there a broadcast spec re: frequency/bit rate etc that has improved that much over the past few years? At least that is my impression over my 2 systems - whether the big rig or even the upstairs rig with less than stellar equipment. If so, kind of suggests that source is more important than all our hi end gear.
