RE: Very cool looking guitars

I was at Awalt High.....in the same school district as Los Altos and the original Mt View High on Castro street.....class of 1967. Awalt was renamed Mt View High in the early 80s after the original school b.rnt down.

I lived up in B.llingham right on the main street in downtown....on Holly Street in an apartment ab.ve an art gallery. It was like magic....

I'm sitting down having a sandwhich .....and along comes a Western Washington Co ed b. the name of Delia.....I'm 45.....she's 20......and we end up lover/room mates for the following two years....she graduates and she's off to Yale......I moved to the lettered streets.....I loved B.llingham!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I worked for an oufit b. the name of "Custom Closets" as traveling salesman/designer......mostly wine rooms or walk-in closets for the idle rich. Lake Whatcom was b.autiful, b.t I dug just walking around downtown to see all the music that was happening...John Hiat, Wynton Marsallis, Michael Hedges, Pearl Jam (Delia knew Eddie since she was 17).....and that wild act of Timothy Leary and G Gordon Liddy!!!

If things work out ......i hope to return to B.llingham....or atleast somewhere in Whatcom county.....i fell in love with the whole region from traveling so much for work. I could feel the immediate let down when I drove down to the Skagit valley......Anacortes ain't B.llingham!

Ciao, Tom B.
