Acoustic solution for arched ceiling

We are currently building a dedicated audio room as part of a larger renovation project. The audio room is planned to be 23x13 with 9 foot ceilings. The outer structure of this audio room features an arched roof that arcs over the length of the room (the center of the arc is 5 feet higher than the two ends). Now early on in the planning we fully realized that an arched ceiling is not good for acoustics. Therefore, although we would have loved to have the arc featured inside the room for architectural reasons, we decided to put a flat ceiling (9 feet) on the inside of the room to avoid acoustic problems.

Now, that the framing is up for this room, we realize how unfortunate it is that this room will not show off the arched ceiling on the inside. In fact, one of our neighbours (an architect) was upset to hear that the inside of the room would have a flat ceiling ... yet, he could understand why given the function of the room. Yet, he wonders why we couldn't use some sort of ceiling baffle or panel system (e.g. http://www.kineticsnoise.com/is.html) or canopy that would still allow us to have the detail of the arched ceiling yet, without any major acoustical penalty.

So, before we finish the framing with a flat inner ceiling, I wanted to see whether it was still possible to have an arched ceiling inside with some sort of acoustical system to optimize the sound ?
