RE: Performance

All oscilloscopes have a specified bandwidth and all oscilloscopes are -3-dB down at their upper bandwidth limit. The minus 3-dB points are how bandwidth is defined. If you want a wider bandwidth, then you buy a scope with wider bandwidth. The wider the bandwidth, the more the oscilloscope costs. For audio work, 10-MHz is more than sufficient, but if you want wider bandwidth then you need to buy wider bandwidth.

The 25-MHz 2-channel PicoScope costs $225.

The 50-MHz 2-channel PicoScope costs $349.

If you want even wider bandwidth, then you have to buy a real oscilloscope.

Best regards,
John Elison
