No, I don't think so Al

""Its a LOUDSPEAKER with off-the-shelf components (ie. I did not build the drivers myself)."

"Do you think designing a loudspeaker from scratch qualifies as a "subtle adjustment"??"

You are contradicting yourself within a single thread.

Sorry Al, you seem to be going WAY out on a limb to catch me in something but it just isn't happening. The quotes you have posted from me here show no contradiction whatsoever. Yes I used off-the-shelf parts, as do the majority of commercial speaker designers and builders. That doesn't mean the design (ie. how they drivers are used in a finished product) is off-the-shelf. It is not. It was not a kit and it was not built for me by someone else. It was designed and built by me using off the shelf parts. Where exactly is the contradiction?? Again, I will ask, Do you think that building a loudspeaker is a tweak when it is so obviously makes a large change (for better or worse) in the sound??

It was a lame try to attempt to trap me in some apparent (only to you) contradiction and divert attention from the obvious question I posed to you. So rather than address this you try to change the subject to some sort of contradiction, which clearly doesn't exist. I expect this kind of smoke and mirrors with some other members of this forum, Al, but I didn't expect it from you. I am truly disappointed in your line of attack on me in these posts.
