RE: Does that render you immune to cognitive biases in respect of audio?

Well, I have done single blind tests as well which confirmed many of the things I heard like differences in interconnects. As I have not the time nor the tools to do correct DBTs, single blind is the best I can achieve at home. Oh yeah, and level matching to within 0.5db, this I do with every test...especially on shootouts with multiple devices. This is where a digital equalizer with SPL meter and pink noise generator comes in quite handy. It also allows me to measure my in-room response (with a 1/6th octave RTA) on the fly when I change something. Much more convenient than using my measuring suite on my computer (I use SoundEasy for my speaker design). Which measuring tools do YOU use?
